(SSH) provides a secure method of accessing your hosting account
via a command line interface.
To connect to
your hosting account via SSH type:
Hostname: your.domain.name
The username
and password combination is that which was allocated at the time
of account setup and is the same combination used for accessing
ftp and the control panel.
SSH access is
available on all hosting account but it is not always enabled by
default. If you are unable to log in via SSH and your username/password
combination is correct you will need to log into the control panel
and enable SSH access.

a secure alternative to FTP for uploading files to your hosting
