Why don't changes
to my site appear after I've updated the files?
Updates to
pages on your website might not appear when you load them on to
our web server due to caching of the pages. We do not run any form
of caching programs on our servers, nor do we cache any of your
website pages BUT many ISP's and Web browser programs do cache files,
which is the most likely cause of your problem.
This
excellent document explains in detail how caching works, why
it is needed and how to work around it.
Two quick work
around's to solve this problem:
1. Temporarily change your file name to view the updates.
2. Hold down 'Control' and click 'Refresh in IE, or hold down 'Shift'
and click 'Reload' in Netscape on the updated pate.
